A digipak is
an opening book style CD case. A digipak generally contains:
A front cover that is easily recognisable by the artists fans, the cover will identify the artist/band and the title of the album, along with portraying an image to relate to either the artist/band or album title.
An inside index. the index will give a list of the songs on
the CD(s) in order of play.
A back cover this back cover will have an image similar to
the front cover. The back cover will contain a bar code for purchase reasons,
the company or companies the artist/band are in association with and any
copyright information.
An inside cover that contains the CD holder A stereotypical
digipak uses lots of images and different bold text to make the digipak
exciting and eye-catching for the fans to buy.
The digipak will have consistency of colours and themes
throughout each side to make the house style iconic and recognisable to others.
