On this post I will be analysing three websites in preparation for when my group and I publish our own webpage based on our music video, as a group we will be taking ideas from these webpages (but not completely copying them).
This is Sub Focus' website, it very professional and the layout is brilliant.
The bright colours which are on the website attract the viewer's eye straight away as soon as you enter the webpage.
The background of the website is linked in with his latest album art. In the corner of the page you can listen to remix's from his latest songs, this is very good as you can listen to some songs which have been remixed and which may not get as much publicity like his singles in the chart.
The second is the Drake webpage. This website has a completely different layout to the Sub Focus website, on this page their are two sets of links to different pages.
The links are completely the same and are in the same order starting with 'home' and ending in Drake tour merchandise', the reason this is done is to attract the viewer into clicking on the links taking them to different parts of his website.
Lastly we are researching is Calvin Harris' website, this page is completely different to the other two websites in which the group and I have researched. The distinct thing about this is the timeline which appears at the bottom of the page, this is very a creative idea and it's basically a timeline of his music career from year to year telling us when his music has been released.
